An award-winning Syrian type designer. He is the principal and founder of Sakkal Design, based in the US. He started professionally as an architect and graphic designer but has been a full-time designer of Arabic fonts since 2002. He holds a PhD from the University of Washington in the History of Islamic Art. He collaborates with many type foundries and corporations, and his awards include 6 from TDC and Granshan competitions.

An experienced graphic design professional specializing in Persian typography since 2009. Early in his career, he was dedicated to teaching typography design at the university level. Subsequently, he shifted his focus to establishing the FontIran website, where his efforts were redirected to the publication and marketing of Perso-Arabic typefaces. Between 2014 and 2017, Ebrahimi's typefaces underwent a significant transformation, playing a pivotal role in shaping the typographic landscape for Persian web and software design. The launch of FontIran Foundry marked a successful advocacy for voluntary copyright adherence in the realm of Perso-Arabic typefaces, addressing challenges related to sales and income for type designers. . Ebrahimi's impactful contributions have left a lasting impression on the field, influencing the culture of Perso arabic typography and providing solutions to challenges faced by fellow type designers.

My work name is Jovanny Lemonad (real name Ivan Gladkikh). I am a Russian type designer. I started designing fonts in 2004 and have since created over one hundred fonts for free and commercial use.

My passion since 2008 has been the creation of free fonts, in particular ornamental fonts. My work has been greatly influenced by experimental typography and as a result, I like to try difficult and experimental things in my font designs. My motto is "fonts for designers by designers".

In 2009 I received an award "For perfection in font design" at the international type design competition "Modern Cyrillic '09".

The Northern Block is an independent type foundry internationally recognised for producing modernist fonts for brands, creatives and makers.

Hi, I’m Vitória and this is my playground! Just in case you were wondering, “Seven” is my last name backwards. Since I believe that designing typefaces is the ultimate level of dedication to letterforms I created the SevenType Studio – an independent type foundry.
